Politica di licenza

Nette Framework è distribuito come software libero utilizzabile da chiunque. Potete scegliere se sia più adatta alle vostre esigenze la New BSD oppure la GNU General Public License (GPL), versione 2 o 3.

Per la maggior parte dei progetti si consiglia la licenza BSD, perché è facile da capire e non pone quasi alcun limite a ciò che potete fare con il framework. Potete usare Nette anche in progetti commerciali. Se però per il vostro progetto è più adatta la GPL, sceglietela pure. Non serve informare nessuno della vostra decisione. Conservate sempre le note di copyright originali.

Dovreste sapere che il nome “Nette Framework” è un marchio registrato e il suo uso è soggetto ad alcune limitazioni. Non usate perciò “Nette” nel nome del vostro progetto né in un nome di dominio di primo livello; scegliete invece un nome che regga da solo. Se il vostro progetto è buono, non ci vorrà molto perché si costruisca una reputazione propria.
